I am a native of Lancaster, SC. I am a proud graduate of the Lancaster County School District. After high school I attended Winthrop University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Secondary Education .I taught for several years at Lancaster High School.
In 2003 I received a Master of Science in Education Administration from Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wisconsin. I have worked in Indian Land since 2005 when I served as Assistant Principal before being named Principal of Indian Land Elementary and Middle Schools in 2007 and Principal of Indian Land Middle School in 2008.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my nieces and nephews, and working with various community and civic groups.
